Option 1:
The Babysitter Training Course is a 4 hour, 50 minute program that provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. The goal of this training is to help participants develop leaderships skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business; keep themselves and others safe; and learn childcare skills and basic first aid. Recommended age of 11-16 years old. Completion of this course results in an American Red Cross certificate(Valid 10 years; Recommended to practice skills regularly).
Option 2:
The Babysitter Training Course with Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is a 7 hour, 10 minute program including all content in the Babysitter’s Training course, PLUS: How to recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies; how to perform CPR and use an AED for children and infants; how to respond to sudden illnesses; and how to respond to injuries and environmental emergencies. Recommended age of 11-16 years old. Completion of this course results in an American Red Cross certificate(Valid 10 years; Recommended to practice skills regularly) AND a Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certificate(Valid 2 years).
